I love Microsoft OneNote and Google Keep. Both of them seem to offer me scrap-booking for all my devices. I take a note which is text, a drawing, photo video audio or combination of all of them and save them to OneNote or Keep and I can get them on all my devices. Better still both apps have built in text grabbing (OCR) from images saving me lots of typing or scanning and OCR.
Of course to make the best of these apps you need a Microsoft account ( hotmail, livemail or outlook) for OneNote or Gmail account for Google Keep. You also need Internet access to store the 'scraps/notes' in your cloud space ready to pick up as required. The Internet access is also essential if you wish to take photos and turn them into editable text.
OneNote is really part of the office suite but can be downloaded for free
here. It is available for Mac and PC this way and of course on iPad/Android at the appstore/playstore.
Keep is best run as a webapp on PC or Mac so access it using the 9 dots in your browser from the google pages. On Android and iPad it runs as an app.
Google Keep is a bit less structured than OneNote, the latter relies on setting up notebooks with sections and pages. Each is very powerful and easy to get started.
A hidden gem in OneNote is the translate feature
There are plenty of get started guides for keep or onenote on youtube so good luck!
